Polythene on the roll is ideal product for general protection in storage or transit.
Waterproof and water resistant, polythene from the packaging store is centre-folded
on a roll for ease of storage. Manufactured from low density polythene in three
grades.
- Light duty polythene (120 gauge, 30 micron) - ideal for protecting
floors when painting and decorating - and for light duty general wrapping for storage
and transit. The two meter width is folded in half, so the roll is just one meter
wide, but opens out into two meters.
- Medium duty polythene (240 gauge, 60 micron) - ideal for protecting
floors when painting and decorating or gardens when doing ground works - and for
medium duty general wrapping for storage and transit.
- Heavy duty polythene (480 gauge, 120 micron) - ideal for protecting
floors when painting and decorating or gardens when doing ground works - and for
heavier duty wrapping for storage and transit.
- Extra heavy duty polythene (1000 gauge, 250 micron) - often called
"builder's polythene". These strong rolls offer exceptional puncture and burst resistant.
Please note: Our rolls of polythene are centre-folded. For example, a 2m wide sheet
of plastic would be folded in half and come on a 1m roll, for ease of storage -
it simply unfolds it as you unroll it.
