Boxes

Boxes are the most basic and rudimentary packaging solution. Boxes usually need to be augmented by one or more packaging aids, such as corrugated, polythene or bubble wrap packaging. However, people will often choose boxes on their own for general packaging requirements.

Cardboard

Cardboard is among the most commonly used packaging material. Cardboard boxes come in all shapes and sizes, and are the primary mode of packaging and storage when it comes to moving general goods and items. Cardboard boxes can be reinforced by special adhesives, tapes and strapping.

Bubble Wrap

Bubble Wrap packaging is important when you want the contents to be extra safe. Bubble wrap packaging is transparent or translucent, made of a special type of plastic material that harbours little air pockets called blisters. Bubble wrap packaging looks like it has little air studs sticking out of it. These air blisters absorb the shock upon probable impact, thereby creating extra security for the packaging contents and ensuring even the most fragile of items remain secured from damage.

Corrugated

Corrugated packaging is important when you want to create a buffer zone between your items and the outside world. Corrugated packaging is often employed to package industrial goods and equipment. Some consumer goods that are bulky or heavy can benefit from the extra security corrugated packaging provides.

Polythene

Polythene packaging is, like its name implies, made of polythene material. This makes for the fact that polythene packaging is see-though. The transparent or translucent nature of polythene packaging makes it preferable for applications where it is important to keep the contained product visible. Often used for decorative packaging or for marketing purposes, polythene packaging is one of the most versatile packaging types.
